São Paulo, Brazil – February 24, 2012 – Imagine two friends in their room setting up an awesome slot racing track with two cars, spending hours accelerating on disputed races with amazing slippages and overruns. Having this in mind, Quantix Games announced the release of the free version of Slot Racing HD – a real, simple and fun slot car racing game for the iPad™.

One iPad, two players. Slot Racing HD seeks the same concept of a classic slot car racing: two competitors pick up their cars, select an incredible track, choose how many laps they will run and go straight to the race, accelerating with their respectively buttons right on the iPad screen. If the car slips out the track, the competitor touches it to get back the fun. And even when alone, it’s possible training against the CPU.

On the free version, one track and two cars are available to tease and bring players a solid experience. On the other hand, on the full version it’s possible to play on several theme tracks placed on Sahara Desert, Swedish Alps or even on a kid’s room, bringing details such as a sandstorm, a blizzard freezing the screen or an airplane flying over the race. Moreover, slot cars from various categories can dispute themselves, like an F1 car racing an off-road Jeep.

Real, simple and fun. Slot Racing HD was designed to entertain players of all ages. It’s an intuitive and addictive game, presented in high definition graphics with remarkable details, turning into a yet more exciting dispute. With real physics, players will feel the thrill of being at a real slot racing circuit.

A game always updated. The purpose of Slot Racing HD is to be in constant evolution, presenting new theme tracks, new slot car models or even new features.

Sao Paulo, Brazil – December 23, 2011 – Quantix Games announced today the launch of Slot Racing HD for iPad™ – a high-definition slot racing game for one or two players, disputed on amazing scenarios of different difficulty levels, adopting easy gameplay mechanics and providing plenty of fun.

“Slot Racing HD on the iPad brings back a lot of good childhood memories” – says Rodolfo Calabrezi, from Quantix Games. “The team worked hard to design something that felt close those slot racing professional circuits in the street, having quality and fun in mind. The result was brilliant, a top-down racing game using the iPad as a track. Just stay around it and start playing”, he states.

In the game, races can be set from regular to uncommon places, such as the freezing Alps, an airport with airplanes crossing the screen, or even a desert with sandstorms, pyramids and balloons flying over the scene. The gameplay is really simple and addictive – you press the gas button and the car accelerates, and once it slips out from the track, you just touch it to bring it back, using an easily visible tap sign. When off-track, a timer starts and you need to wait until recovering your car – there is a penalty time for crashers that can be adjusted in the options screen, ranging from one to three seconds.

Slot Racing HD is targeted to a broad audience of “casual” players, mainly those slot racing and racing game lovers, seeking an instant fun with incredible visuals. Take your time to experience Slot Racing HD now for only US $2.99 at Apple’s App Store, on iPad device or at http://www.itunes.com/appstore.
